Going to El Salvador...

Some of our numerous readers (well...maybe dozens of readers) already know that we are headed on a missions trip to El Salvador with a team of 15 from our church in March.  If you didn't, the 3 of us are going to be spending a week working at an orphanage, loving on the kids, possibly building things, and just serving in whatever capacity we can.  We're really excited....even Luke...about this opportunity to stretch our comfort zones and to see how God can work through our team on this trip.

God has been faithful in helping us raise the financial support needed for the trip - of the $2700 that we need to raise, we only have about $800 more to go.  Interested in helping support us financially for this trip?  Here are 2 great opportunities:
  1. If you are interested in making a financial contribution, please contact us (leave a comment on this post or email us) and we will give you the information on where to send a tax-deductible gift.
  2. We are also selling some great handmade products - Handcrafted Artisan Soap and Hard Lotion Bars.  Buy some for yourself, or for a great gift idea! (Valentines day is just around the corner!) Details on the items are below - let us know if you are interested in making a purchase!
Handcrafted Artisan Soap - Moisturizing soap made with Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Organic Unrefined Coconut Oil, Coconut Milk, Shea Butter, and Rosemary.  $4.00/bar (plus postage if required)

Hard Lotion Bars - Easy to apply, unscented, perfect for cracked, dry elbows, knuckles, feet, and more. Gentle, all natural product is especially well suited for babies. $8.00/bar (plus postage if required)
